Dr. Margaret Matinga works on energy policy and project development, and currently researches and advises on gender mainstreaming approaches. Dr. Matinga also provides technical backstopping. Dr. Matinga has previously worked in Europe and has extensive experience working on energy projects in Africa and Asia. She is passionate about harnessing sustainable energy technologies and policies to support poverty alleviation. Dr. Matinga is proprietor of Dunamai Energy, a consulting firm based in Malawi.
