Mr. Johann Thaler holds a diploma in environmental economics and environmental management. He has over eight years of experience in auditing carbon projects. He is the first point of contact for all Gold Standard Africa related issues and is amongst others responsible for technical reviews of African projects submitted to the Gold Standard for certification and further development of rules, procedures, social development assessment tools, and capacity building activities.
