African Director of IDEAS for Us;  Founder of Global Alliance for Development Foundation (GADeF)

Emmanuel Marfo is a social entrepreneur and a philanthropist with a passionate commitment to helping empower youth and young innovators through education, leadership, social entrepreneurship and sustainable project development. He is the co-chair and convener of the African Youth in Philanthropy Conference and sits on the IDEAS for Us board, serving as African Regional Director. IDEAS for Us has presence in over 15 African countries and works with young environmentalists and energy experts that provide solutions to global problems. He hopes to support energy and environmental projects in Africa through the IDEAS Solution Fund. Emmanuel is also co-founder of a social educational enterprise, Phinklife Institute that focuses on next generation of social entrepreneurs in Africa and Diaspora.
