Dr. Ellison Carter is a postdoctoral fellow working to develop tools to conduct population-level environmental exposure assessment and assess impacts of interventions that reduce cardiovascular disease burden. Currently, she focuses on personal exposure to air pollution from solid fuel use for cooking and heating in rural China. Ellison completed her doctoral training in environmental engineering as a National Science Foundation and Environmental Protection Agency fellow at the University of Texas at Austin.
