Ms. Cristel Cheong is a trained economist who has been working in the clean cooking sector since July 2011. She works with private sector and NGO teams in Malawi and Rwanda that implement cookstove projects. Ms. Cheong works with implementers to secure results-based financing, and places a heavy emphasis on monitoring, field testing, and reporting on cleaner cookstove projects. She has also been the coordinator of Malawi’s annual Cleaner Cooking Camp since March 2012.
