Image Release
For good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I grant the United Nations Foundation, with offices at 1750 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Suite 300, Washington, D.C., 20006, and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, successors and assigns (collectively, “UNF”), (hereinafter collectively referred to as “UNF”), the right to use, in any way UNF sees fit and without limitation, (i) still photographs, video, and/or recording of my voice taken or made of me by you; and (ii) my actual or fictitious name (hereinafter the “Material”), for promotional and educational purposes an unlimited number of times in perpetuity, in any and all media, now known and hereafter devised.
UNF agrees to use the Material solely for the purpose of raising awareness about UNF’s campaigns and initiatives (the “Initiative”).
I give permission to UNF to edit, delete, and/or dub the Material as UNF sees fit in UNF’s sole discretion. Without in any way limiting the foregoing, I acknowledge and agree that UNF is under no obligation to use Material. I waive any right of inspection or approval of the Material or the uses to which such Material may be put. I acknowledge that UNF will rely on this permission potentially, at substantial cost to itself and hereby agree not to assert any claim of any nature whatsoever against anyone relating to the exercise of the permissions granted hereunder.
I acknowledge that I will receive no compensation in connection with UNF’s use of the Material. I waive any and all rights I may have to any compensation whatsoever. I acknowledge and agree that a significant element of the consideration I am receiving under this Agreement is the benefit of providing the Material for the Initiative in furtherance of UNF’s non-profit activities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I agree that I will never sue UNF or anyone because UNF did not use the Material or because I do not like the manner in which UNF and/or its licensees or assignees used the Material. I agree to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless UNF, and its employees, directors, officers, agents, representatives, and licensees from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action of any nature whatsoever which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons action on my behalf or on behalf of my estate, have or may have by reason of UNF’s exercise of any rights granted by me in this Agreement in connection with UNF’s use of the Material.
AUTHORIZATION FOR USE
To the extent that I have legal authority to do so, I hereby give consent for the release of the material(s) referenced to UNF under the conditions and for the purpose described herein.
