Dr. Olivier Lompo has expertise in energy, environmental, geography, and geographic information systems. Dr. Lompo currently leads UNHCR Burkina Faso’s energy and environment program. During his tenure working in refugee camps in Farchana, Bredjing Treguine, and Gaga in Eastern Chad, Dr. Lompo served as an associate environmental and livelihood officer. After receiving his PhD at the University of Naples in Italy, Dr. Lompo served as a Teacher-Researcher at the University of Ouagadougou for the Department of Geography.
