Elisa Derby has 15 years’ experience in energy and development, including 12 years focusing on clean cooking. She manages Winrock’s clean cooking programs, is the clean cooking specialist for the WASHplus project, and has been a co-Principal Investigator on cookstove consumer preference/adoption studies in Bangladesh and Nepal. Her work incorporates field-based capacity building, research, network building, knowledge dissemination, and direct-implementation. Ms. Derby holds a Master’s degree from the Energy and Resources Group at UC Berkeley.
