Development Communications and Marketing

Abhay Sen is a development communications and marketing professional. He did his Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Honors) from Delhi University and Post-graduate Diploma in Management from MICA, Ahmedabad, India. He comes with more than 5 years of experience working with government and social enterprises.

Over the years, Abhay has worked on a diverse set of projects namely communication strategies for government projects like Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam (largest gravity dam in India), Vibrant Gujarat 2011 and Statue of Unity (tallest statue in the world – under construction). He has led behavior change interventions for social enterprises in the space of indoor air pollution, female hygiene, clean energy, safe drinking water, nutrition and designed and executed marketing campaigns for lifestyle and livelihood enhancing products like solar lights, improved cookstoves, sewing machines, mobile phones, and many more.

Abhay has developed a keen interest in studying and researching on consumer behaviour and has strategized and implemented innovative behavior change interventions for adoption of clean cooking solutions whilst his time at Dharma Life.

Abhay’s passions include football, world cinema, reading, hiking, exploring offbeat destinations, and short film making.
